Mega Man Slowdown Legacy

Capcom has announced that they'll be releasing the Mega Man Legacy Collection, which will contain the first six of the classic Mega Man series.

... which sounds far less appealing compared to the earlier Mega Man Anniversary Collection for sixth generation consoles, which contained the first 8 games, including two Mega Man arcade games to be unlocked.

To make things worse, Frank Cifaldi of Digital Eclipse tweeted that they plan to preserve the slow downs that occurred when playing the games on an NES:

The fun part is how the slow downs and flickering was fixed in the Complete Works port of the classic series and the fixes are carried over when the port was reused for the Anniversary Collection.

I guess "presenting these games as they were originally released" also means no extra features like remixed soundtracks as found in the Anniversary Collection or the Complete Works port.
